We’re excited to share a couple of updates as we continue preparing for Team QAJAQ USA’s trip to Nuuk, Greenland for the 2026 Greenland National Kayaking Championships (Qaannamik Unammersuarneq).
EXPEDITION JACKETS NOW AVAILABLE
The official Team QAJAQ USA Nuuk 2026 Expedition Jackets are now available for purchase through our online store:

These are the jackets the team will be wearing in Greenland—designed for durability, practicality, and a clean, understated look. They’re available in both men’s and women’s versions.

FUNDRAISER FOR THE GREENLAND TRIP
We’ve also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help support the team’s travel to Nuuk.
This is a grassroots effort, and while all team members are covering their own primary expenses, there are significant additional costs involved, including:
• Travel to and within Greenland
• Lodging and food
• Event registration
• Transporting gear
• Bringing cultural gifts to share with Greenlandic paddlers

PURPOSE OF THE TRIP
Our goal is not competition in the usual sense, but participation, learning, and respect.
This event represents the living tradition of Greenland kayaking, and we see this as an opportunity to engage directly with the culture that has inspired so much of what we practice.
We also plan to document the journey through The Dubcast with Dubside and video/photography, and share that experience with the wider community.
We’re grateful for the support this community has already shown, and we’re excited to represent QAJAQ USA in Nuuk.
