I ordered a 12" diameter oak hoop from Etsy (3/4" high). It is intended for making a large basket. They also had oak drum heads, which were up to 2" high and any diameter, but it would have taken me too long to get them shipped. I have less than 2 weeks to get everything ready.

I am setting up my SOF as a hunting rig for display at TRAQS in Lake Placid, Florida at the end of March. I have most of what I need except a harpoon line tray. Any practical advice or diagrams on making one? Any tips or shortcuts to building the tray. How about a large embroidery hoop? I though about using 3/8 inch black polyester rope. Any better ideas? Thanks.
